Two Bezier surfaces follow the line of the beams and columns and intersect as they descend, taking the bulk out of the heavy structure overhead. Lighting is recessed along the path of the surface: in the master bedroom it opens the space up visually, and in the living area it drops as a pendant for reading music at the piano.
